WAKO PRO
The “PRO WAKO World Association of Kickboxing Organizations” (WAKO PRO called) was established in 1991 to ensure the elite fighters of amateur athletes of kickboxing WAKO , founded in 1976, development of promotional career.
Until 2006, WAKO and WAKO PRO were two sides of the same coin. Then the WAKO PRO was officially separated from the WAKO to enable it to become the world federation of amateur recognized by reference GAISF (today SportAccord), bringing together 118 affiliated nations present on 5 continents, including the Kick Boxing and Krav Maga Monegasque Federation, chaired by Claude Pouget.
WAKO PRO is represented by Claude POUGET Monaco, National Technical Director of the Federation Monegasque Contact Sports and Associated Disciplines.
WAKO PRO was founded and chaired for 18 years (1991 to 2009) by Ennio M. Falsoni, charismatic Italian champion of martial arts. Since 2009, his daughter Miss Barbara Falsoni took over, while M. Ennio Falsoni presides over the WAKO.
